Our Garden Pavilion is the perfect location for you outdoor wedding reception. Available from May to October, the Wedding Pavilion can comfortably seat from 150 to 250 guests. The Pavilion features an oak hardwood dance floor, outdoor bar, hard floor, stage, chandelieres, attached canopy deck and easy access to all hotel rooms and facilities. The attached canopied deck can also be used as a second stage for a DJ/band.

The Hartness House is home to the James Hartness-Russell Porter Astronomy Museum hosted in cooperation with Stellafane. This museum features important amateur astronomy instruments and telescopes, and the antique 1910 Hartness Equatorial Tracking Telescope and Observatory.

The Hartness House features an unique underground museum and an antique 1910 Equatorial Tracking Refractor telescope with Brashear lens housed in an unique observatory.   The museum collection offers interesting exhibits including Hale Observatory in Mount Palomar drawings, Porter Garden Telescope, Cassegrain and Coude telescopes and photographs, Hartness sundial, 1917 Fullam 10" reflector telescope, lens grinding exhibits and photographs of the early Hartness House.

The Hartness Astronomical Observatory features a 10" Brashear refractor telescope with an equatorial tracking system that was invented and placed into operation in 1910 and patented in 1912.  The Hartness Observatory is reached from the inn by way of a secret 240 foot underground tunnel.  Also, located nearby, the Miller Art Center and Museum also provides a historical look at the history of James Hartness and the Hartness House.
